About the Project
Drummond Street Services is a not for profit organisation with multiple locations throughout Victoria which has been supporting individuals, families and communities with a range of social services since 1887. Drummond Street approached Yarra Web to help redesign their site to better align with their goals, organisational values and vision.
Due to the diverse and numerous range of services the client offers, information architecture and defining user journeys was a key component in ensuring the website delivered key information in an effective and efficient manner. In this regard, creating precise value propositions and a well defined sitemap allows users to easily find and apply for services online via a detailed intake form. This process has reduced the administration cost to the organisation for time spent taking phone calls and provided another channel to increase demand for services.
The website also displays the range of courses and groups the organisation runs in various locations and time slots, and makes it easy for users to make a booking to attend the courses.
Incremental improvements to the above activities are consistently made by the analysis of goal driven metrics provided by Google Analytics, such as funnel visualisation analysis and analysing user conversion behaviour.
We have greatly enjoyed working on this project and are proud to support Drummond Street Services in their mission to continue improving the daily lives and communities of everyday Victorians.
