w|respect is a specialist LGBTIQ family violence service that was funded by the Victorian government in 2017 and was our fifth website project directed by Drummond Street Services, an umbrella organisation providing many social services for communities in Victoria. We were proud to be involved in this important project.
We worked closely with and had wonderful support from various members of the organsition to bring the vision to reality in record time. Stage one of the process involved creating a design and layout that matched the style guide’s intentions for the brand, as well as defining a site structure that allows easy user access to the large amount of information and services provided by w|respect. When the design was signed off by all parties we commenced stage two, programming the design into a staging site for review.
The project presented a unique challenge in that the entire site, from design to launch had to be completed within three weeks and we were thrilled to be able to beat the deadline by a couple of days.
Post launch we provide continual support, updates and web hosting and work closely with the organisation to ensure the site continually meets the needs of its audience.
